MetraAV™ Unveils New Products at the 2021 CEDIA Expo

Holly Hill, Fla.– MetraAV™ is heading to the 2021 CEDIA Expo to showcase new products at booth 3600. After a year of virtual events, attendees will be able to pick up and see new products in person, talk with sales representatives, and meet the product developers who designed these new solutions. MetraAV will showcase new surveillance cameras and improved power distribution boxes, new premium audio cables, HDMI® extenders, a versatile new audio extender, and more.

Spyclops Surveillance Systems® by MetraAV™ is now shipping two new IP cameras supporting 4K with the latest in color night vision technology and has also introduced three new and improved power distribution boxes. The cameras have a built-in microphone and are available in a low-profile mini bullet and mini turret dome style option, the SPY-MNBLT3WIP8 and SPY-MNDM3WIP8. The distribution boxes are available in options to manage up to 5, 9, or 18 surveillance cameras. These new products are in stock and will be on display at the 2021 CEDIA Expo at booth 3600.

Holly Hill, FL – Velox®, the premium connectivity brand from MetraAV™, is introducing new HiFi speaker cables at the 2021 CEDIA Expo. The 12 gauge BFA terminated cables are designed to deliver the purest undegraded sound possible using premium materials and construction. They feature high purity oxygen-free copper with hundreds of tightly woven solid-core conductors for excellent conductivity. To allow better flexibility, cotton paper separates the PVC jacket and conductors and cotton yarn supports the twist shape design. The low-density polyethylene insulation for each conductor avoids adding bulk, allowing the woven, flexible outer jacket to protect the cable from wear and tear without making it too stiff for installation. The BFA terminations are 24K gold plated with anodized aluminum terminals, making them easy to identity within an AV system. MetraAV will soon be shipping the Velox EHV-SPK series cables in 8, 10, and 12-foot lengths.

MetraAV™ is bringing two new HDMI® extenders and a new audio extender to the 2021 CEDIA Expo, expanding its product line of AV distribution electronics. A new 4x4 matrix that includes extenders and has built-in compatibility features gives integrators a high-quality solution that is also budget-friendly. A new HDMI extender sends a 4K/30 signal up to 40 meters or up to 70 meters at 1080p over single Cat6 cable. For audio, MetraAV is also showcasing a new extender that supports analog, optical, and digital coax, providing a flexible solution for integrators.

After many larger exhibitors announced their plans to leave the CEDIA Expo due to Covid-19 concerns, MetraAV™ has decided to remain in the show. “We talked with many of our dealers, surveyed our customers, and learned that many are still planning to attend and want to see us at the show. While we understand the reasons why others chose not to attend, we felt that it was important to keep our commitment to exhibit at CEDIA Expo,” says Jessy Crabb, general manager of MetraAV. “This has always been one of the most important events in our industry. While we know it won’t be the same as before the pandemic, our staff is all looking forward to seeing our customers, vendors, and friends at CEDIA.
