2015 CEPro Best for Cedia Expo

CE Pro is pleased to announce the winners of the 2015 CE Pro BEST (Best Electronic Systems Technologies) Awards, recognizing the most noteworthy new products and technologies for 2015.

“The BEST Awards offer by far the greatest amount of exposure for every submission ... not just the winners ... more exposure than any other awards program in the custom installation industry,” says Jason Knott, editor-in-chief at CE Pro.

All submissions will appear on and in the December 2015 print edition of CE Pro.

An unbiased judging panel of a dozen credible industry leaders, along with the editors of CE Pro, performed the judging independently. Each of the 182 submissions was judged on its own merits for innovation, functionality, competitive advantages and benefits to the integrator. Since the products were not judged against each other but independently, this year CE Pro is presenting multiple winners for high-scoring products in certain categories.

This year there are eleven primary categories: Loudspeakers, Multiroom A/V, Video & Home Theater, Media Servers & Sources, Whole-House Control, Control Subsystems, User Interfaces (Hardware/Software), Networking & Communications, Business Solutions & Services, and Peripherals & Enhancements.

A bonus “Most Promising” category has been added this year to recognize products that are shipping within six months after CEDIA Expo 2015

“The scores are simply tallied up and the winners are selected. So the recognition for the winners is really coming from custom integrators in the field, not just from CE Pro. I congratulate all the winners and all the entrants,” adds Knott.

All entrants and BEST winners will be featured in the December issue of CE Pro. Awards will be presented Oct. 15 at the CE Pro booth #3504 at CEDIA Expo at 4:00 p.m. Winners will have the opportunity for a photo with CE Pro editors while enjoying a beer.
