2018 CEDIA Pre-Show Rollout

Metra Home Theater Group® (MHTG) will showcase its 12 new additions and updates to its Spyclops® brand of surveillance security systems and accessories at the 2018 CEDIA Expo to be held in San Diego, CA in September. The 2018 updates are in response to customer requests and include POE cameras, as well as motorized autofocus and adjustable zoom. Many of the innovations make projects easy for the integrator by reducing installation time and adding flexibility for system upgrades. Providing tried and true technologies, MHTG offers installers U.S.-based responsive technical support. All 12 of these cameras will be shipping soon.

For 2018, Spyclops is rolling out new POE and PTZ cameras allowing for streamlining installation. The SPY-PTZWIP3 2.1MP Pan/Tilt with 22x zoom and 6PCS IR LEDS, IR Range:60m and the SPY-PTZBWIP5 5MP with 5X zoom and 4PCS Array IR LEDS + 2PCS Laser Lamp, IR Range: 100m respectively and are weatherproof.

The SPY-BLTW3IP4AF and SPY-DOMEWIP4AF in white, and the SPY-BLTG3IP4AF and SPY-DOMEGIP4AF in gray, remove the hassle of manually adjusting the zoom and focus due to their built-in motorized autofocus and adjustable zoom control with web interface. The DVR/NVR can also be controlled with the free remote viewing app.

The SPY-NVR45MP1 and SPY-NVR45MPND capture higher resolution with IP video up to 5MP with more storage capability and improved H.265 encoding. The SPY-NVR85MP1 & SPY-NVR85MPND are eight-channel display NVRs and the SPY-NVR165MP1 & SPYNVR165MPND offer 16 channels.

Spyclops fixed position IP security cameras can now integrate with Control4 EA controllers, T3 Touchscreens and mobile application for iPhone and Android devices. The camera software drivers are available for free download on the MHTG website under the product files for each camera model. Once the camera driver is downloaded and installed, existing Control4 users can view their live Spyclops camera feeds from their Control4 mobile app. Live camera feeds and other viewing options will still be available in the free Spyclops Surveillance Systems remote viewing app.
